Kim, daughter, and two grandchildren love the hot food at Loaves and Fishes - St. Vincent de Paul

Kim, her 10 year old daughter, Jessica, and two grandchildren age 3, and age 1, eat at the Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa (LFCC) Pittsburg dining room at least 3 times per week. She works part time, and her husband was injured and is unable to work right now.

Kim said that she and the children love the food because it is good nutrition. Kim likes the fact that LFCC provides a balanced diet that she and the children do not always get because of cost. The LFCC meal helps Kim to buy groceries that she would not be able to buy. She said without Loaves and Fishes, her family would not have enough food to eat during the week.
