David Gerson joined Loaves & Fishes of Contra Costa (LFCC)
as its Executive Director effective July 11, 2011. David retired from
the practice of law practice in 2009 after 25 years, most recently as a
senior tax partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, a national
law firm headquartered in Palo Alto. Since 2000, David has been an
active Board member of Shelter Inc. of Contra Costa County, the leading
provider of housing services for homeless families. David served most
recently as its board president where he lead the agency's successful
major donor campaign, oversaw its financial turn around and chaired the
Development and Executive Committees. He was recently elected to a four
year term as a member of the governing board of the Lafayette School
District. David, his wife Stacii have lived in Lafayette for over
14 years. Their twin daughters attend Stanley Middle School in
Lafayette. He has a BA in History from the University of Illinois, a
MA in East Asian Studies from the University of Michigan, a JD from the
University of San Francisco and his LLM in Taxation from New York
University. |

Eleanor Bonner

Eleanor Bonner has over 15 years of experience in management and business
process analysis, including advisory services. Prior to joining Loaves and Fishes as
the Manager, Agency Operations, she worked at the University of
California, Berkeley, as the Associate Director, Audits and Advisory
Services. She has her undergraduate degree in Accounting, and is a
Certified Internal Auditor. She has served on the Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa Board of
Directors, and also as a volunteer in the Martinez dining room. She is
active in her church Front Door Ministries and has lived in Contra Costa
County for over ten years. |

Joleen Lafayette

Joleen Lafayette has worked with Loaves & Fishes for over
eight years as our Development Director. She writes proposals to
Foundations, manages our donor data base and helps the Board in
fundraising. Her background previous to Loaves & Fishes is in
Medical Sales. She worked as a Specialty medical representative for 15
years with Syntex Laboratories and is a graduate from UC Santa Barbara
with a degree in Business/Communications. |
